The contractor will perform molecular assays, manage sample workflows, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has experience with qPCR, tissue processing, mammalian cell culture, and biomarker analysis, with preference for IHC, multiplex IHC, or spatial biology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, immunology, cancer biology, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with qPCR or RT-qPCR, nucleic acid isolation, mammalian cell culture, tissue processing, and IHC.
• Strong experimental documentation and data-analysis skills.
• Ability to independently execute laboratory studies in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute translational research studies across oncology, immunology, and in vivo pharmacology programs.
• Perform RNA and DNA extraction, qPCR, RT-qPCR, gene-expression analysis, and sample preparation.
• Conduct mammalian cell culture and support in vitro pharmacology experiments.
• Process and manage tissue samples for molecular and histological analyses.
• Perform or coordinate IHC, multiplex IHC, immunofluorescence, spatial biology, and other biomarker assays.
• Analyze data, maintain accurate experimental records, and communicate findings.
• Collaborate with Translational Sciences and Biomarker teams to advance programs.
• Maintain laboratory compliance, inventory, equipment, and documentation.
