NEOMED is seeking an Associate Director, Technology Integrations to lead IT-related project management for third-party integrations and internal Banner/Argos workflows within the Admissions and Financial Aid team.
The role demands coordinating requirements, testing, and documentation, while guiding strategic initiatives and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and university standards. A strong background in higher education IT and financial aid systems is essential.

The Associate Director for Technology Integrations is responsible for all information technology-related project management, procedures, implementation, and maintenance related to the integrations of external third-party software (Federal Student Aid Partner Connect and other U.S. Education Department portals) and internal work with NEOMED's Student Information System (Ellucian Banner ERP and E-visions Argos reporting). This includes managing system integrations and testing, working with Information Technology staff to assist with any software integrations specifically for Banner, and working with federal Education Department services and staff. The Associate Director for Technology Integrations assists with the development of strategic goals, creation of policies and process analysis, and creating and maintaining proper documentation and training within the financial aid team to keep abreast of new technology and best practices for the administration of student financial aid.
Project Management and collaboration with the IT Department to design and implement technology solutions for university constituent groups of all sizes within and alongside the Financial Aid Office. Coordinate and facilitate requirements gathering and analysis, including development and implementation of functional specifications, integration documents, and testing scripts. Use reporting tools to extract data from operational data systems to help with analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of non-routine production system problems.
Collaborates with the financial aid director in the development of unit strategic goals and implementation of new initiatives and process enhancements; assists with direction and training of financial aid counseling team staff. Maintains awareness of new laws, financial aid regulations, technology and reporting regulations, university and college accreditation standards, and best practices; identifies relevance for NEOMED and proposes appropriate adjustments to policy and procedure. Serves on university committees representing financial aid and information technology.
Lead efforts related to technology improvements in the financial aid office. Establish vision and priorities for technology initiatives in conjunction with financial aid staff. Provide oversight of testing integrations with system upgrades, changes in business operation processes, or data change management. Maintain documentation and communicate information regarding changes in financial aid data workflow and system integrations in support of the university's mission and initiatives.
Cross-check and validate financial aid timelines with Banner functionality related to academic year and term set-up, in conjunction with the college and registrar's office academic period calendars and accounting/student accounts with billing and payment plans.
Perform other duties as assigned.
