Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned Management Consultant to manage a portfolio of client engagements for state government in Louisiana. You will drive engagement quality, manage staff, and ensure delivery aligns with contractual and financial targets.

The role emphasizes building executive relationships within Louisiana state agencies, leading large multi-disciplinary teams, and developing best practices across the organization. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum of 7+ years relevant experience in government or consulting.
• Minimum of 3+ years leading large-scale programs or engagements with state agencies.
• Existing network within the state of Louisiana and connections with state agencies and local governments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead state government new business pursuits and proposals with proven results.
• Excellent program/project management skills with demonstrated experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management and Engagement Delivery: actively manage client engagements and staff, ensure contractual targets and deliverables are met.
• New Business Development: lead executive for new business opportunities and expand client relationships in Louisiana.
• Consulting Staff Leadership: direct line management, career development, and recruitment of the state agency advisory team.
