Job summary

Global Refuge in the United States is seeking an Associate Director for RIS to provide strategic leadership over resettlement and integration programs, overseeing grants, reporting, and partnerships. You will guide program development, supervise senior staff, and work closely with leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Experience administering government grants: proposals, compliance, reporting, budgeting.
• Experience developing training/support for sub-grantees and staff.
• Ability to analyze data to identify trends and implications.
• Experience developing/executing new programs; leadership in fast-paced settings.
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of database management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support RIS activities in line with funding agreements and Global Refuge standards.
• Provide high-level updates to stakeholders on industry developments and program performance.
• Ensure programs meet grant and regulatory requirements and internal benchmarks.
• Oversee funder reporting and grant proposals, and review program reports.
• Analyze program data and trends; prepare reports for leadership.
• Manage budgets in collaboration with the Deputy Director for RIS; help prepare annual budgets.
• Engage partner agencies via calls and site visits to assess needs and capacity.
• Communicate major developments across Global Refuge; foster collaboration and high performance.
• Represent Global Refuge with federal partners and other stakeholders; share best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
