Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking an Associate Director of Philanthropy Operations to provide strategic leadership of philanthropy operations, portfolio management, fundraising analytics, and financial coordination across the donor pipeline. You will oversee systems, processes, reporting, staff, and resources to help philanthropy teams achieve fundraising goals and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience leading and implementing multiple projects.
• Experience negotiating complex agreements.
• Experience with current and evolving technology in relevant field.
• Experience working with teams across the organization.
• Supervisory experience including setting objectives and managing performance, including conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for philanthropy operations, portfolio management, fundraising analytics, financial coordination, and operational planning.
• Oversee systems, processes, reporting, staff, and resources to enable philanthropy teams to achieve fundraising goals and donor engagement.
• Partner with philanthropy leadership, finance staff, and frontline fundraisers to ensure effective management of fundraising operations, data integrity, and revenue tracking.
• Lead planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of systems and practices that support fundraising effectiveness and donor engagement.
• Collaborate with Conservancy staff, donors, Trustees, vendors, and other stakeholders to improve efficiency and effectiveness in fundraising operations.
