Job summary

The Director of Philanthropy Operations at The Nature Conservancy leads the Florida Business Unit's Development Operations, aligning four core areas to support the annual fundraising strategy. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 7+ years related experience.
• Experience planning and delivering budgetary responsibilities.
• Experience managing and supervising a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience developing and implementing multiple projects and strategic goals.
• Experience collaborating across complex organizations and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with relevant field coursework or training.

Responsibilities

• Lead four or more administrative or professional staff, including training and development.
• Develop and administer budget, evaluate results and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure programmatic commitments, policies and financial standards are met and ethically compliant.
• Direct multiple projects, assign work, set deadlines and ensure accountability.
• Lead new programs/initiatives to achieve department goals and strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance performance and align activities with strategic objectives.
