Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech, patient services, market access, or hub environments.
• Experience leading patient assistance, affordability, and/or free-goods programs.
• Experience leading new program launches, implementations, or significant program changes.
• Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, compliance, and pharmacovigilance requirements for patient support programs.
• Familiarity with buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy models.
• Ability to translate data, performance, and insights into recommendations and actions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to advance and complete projects on time and within budget.
• Strong business acumen and patient focus.

Responsibilities

• Program development: Lead cross-brand patient access programs, including patient assistance, affordability and hub capabilities; ensure compliance with safety, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee patient assistance programs across brands, including PAP pharmacy relationship, rules, approvals and escalations; partner with stakeholders and vendors.
• Vendor management: Liaise with patient access vendors; set performance expectations, monitor KPIs, lead business reviews.
• New programs and capabilities: Implement new patient access programs and capabilities; support product launches, RFPs, and vendor selection.
• Patient affordability program: Develop affordability strategy for co-pay, foundation support and patient assistance; oversee vendor execution.
• Reporting and performance: Establish performance framework; ensure data reporting and drive improvements.
• Budgeting: Develop budgets and forecasts; monitor vendor spend and provide visibility to leadership.
• Governance and compliance: Ensure programs comply with legal, regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
