Job summary

NCBiotech is seeking an Associate Director of Equipment Engineering to lead packaging and device assembly equipment programs across sites. You will guide capital projects, equipment validation, and technology transfers, while ensuring regulatory compliance and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate product commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science/Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices with at least 10 years total and 3 in leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and implement packaging equipment standards across sites.
• Strong background with devices, combination products, and packaging facilities.
• Excellent project management, GMP knowledge and quality systems experience.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA) and change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support complex technical packaging and MDCP projects across sites.
• Manage capital equipment projects including transfers and launches.
• Serve as packaging and assembly equipment SME for troubleshooting and performance.
• Apply analytical methods (root cause analysis, risk management) to issues.
• Collaborate with Serialization CoE to implement serialization strategies.
• Establish standards for packaging equipment across platforms.
