Access Destination Services in Denver seeks an Associate Director of Events to lead operations across the Mountains Territory. This role balances hands-on program leadership with team management, coaching staff, and strengthening client and vendor relationships to deliver exceptional experiences.

The ADOE works with the Director of Events to drive revenue, maintain Access standards, and ensure programs are delivered successfully with strong profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in destination management, event planning, hospitality, or related field.
• Experience leading complex events and multiple programs.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, or manage team members.
• Strong understanding of event operations, vendor management, budgeting, and program execution.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client and vendor relationships.

Responsabilités

• Directly manage designated Events team members, providing coaching, feedback, and performance support.
• Conduct regular check-ins, performance evaluations, and development conversations to strengthen results.
• Partner with the Director of Events to identify training needs and best practices.
• Oversee planning and execution of assigned programs with exceptional service and efficiency.
• Lead large-scale or high-profile events and provide direct support when needed.
• Coordinate post-event reviews to capture lessons learned and improve processes.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout planning and execution.
• Guide vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Monitor budgets, SOWs, invoicing, and profitability for programs.
