Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX seeks a fundraising professional to lead leadership giving programs and grow donor engagement. You will manage a donor portfolio, cultivate relationships, and coordinate campaigns to drive revenue for a not-for-profit health system.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fundraising strategy and execution for leadership giving groups, driving annual revenue growth through membership contributions, sponsorships, and targeted development initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen donor relationships through personalized outreach, stewardship, and engagement efforts that increase philanthropic support and long-term retention.
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate prospective donors, managing a portfolio of annual and mid-level contributors to expand the fundraising pipeline.
  • Coordinate fundraising campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring timely donor communications, gift acknowledgment, and measurable campaign performance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and volunteer leaders to align fundraising priorities, analyze campaign results, and implement strategies that improve donor engagement and revenue performance.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Proven fundraising success of $250,000+ annually strongly preferred.
