Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• Minimum five years of experience in higher education

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute academic compliance initiatives aligned with the University Strategic Plan
• Collaborate with university stakeholders, maintain project plans and timelines to achieve regulatory goals
• Complete annual compliance activities to meet strategic priorities
• Audit programs and locations for readiness and compliance
• Assess vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance, communicate concerns
• Prepare applications and reports for regulatory bodies
• Coordinate advisory board meetings and document outcomes

• Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards
• Update knowledge repositories on accreditation standards
• Develop resources to navigate varying standards
• Document standards variations and deadlines
• Respond to research requests on regulations
• Maintain documentation and training materials

• Manage regulatory reporting projects
• Oversee project timelines and quality assurance
• Support accreditation submissions collaboratively
• Review standards and advise leadership
• Report project status accurately

• Prepare for regulatory visits and meetings
• Conduct mock visits and maintain preparation repositories
• Prepare leaders for presentations
• Ensure consistent visit experiences
• Support visitors with logistics and accommodations

• Support strategic growth
• Research regulatory requirements for new markets and programs
• Participate in strategic planning calls
• Represent the university professionally with external entities
• Advise on accreditation processes for new initiatives

Physical Requirements:

• Up to 30% travel required
• Remain stationary most of the time
• Occasionally move around the work location
• Move quickly across campus or clinical settings as needed
• Communicate verbally with students and staff
• Observe and assess visually or otherwise
• Operate relevant equipment and technology
