Job summary

AbbVie seeks an Associate Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research to develop and implement HEOR strategies across multiple indications and products, aligning global plans with integrated evidence programs and influencing payer decisions.

The role requires an advanced degree in health economics or related field, 5+ years with a Master’s (3 years with a PhD), and strong fundamentals in epidemiology, biostatistics, PROs or health services research.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health economics or related discipline.
• 5+ years with Master's, 3+ years with PhD (fellowship may count) in health economics or related field.
• Strong grounding in epidemiology, biostatistics, PROs, health services research, or economics.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates as an HEOR subject-matter expert in cross-functional teams to integrate HEOR strategies into Integrated Evidence Plans.
• Leads and conducts timely execution of robust and innovative HEOR research.
• Collaborates with HEOR centers of excellence to ensure robust research.
• Leverages outcomes research expertise to inform plan and labeling negotiations; interfaces with regulatory bodies.
• Partners with country affiliates to support HTA submissions and market access.
