Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Lead in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) to oversee the design and execution of HEOR studies across products. You will report to the Director, HEOR Pain and contribute to the publication strategy and payer insights.

The role requires a PhD/MD/MPH/ PharmD or equivalent with extensive HEOR experience, strong communication skills, and deep understanding of US HTA, market access, and clinical development. Hybrid or on-site work options are available.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, MPH, PharmD, or equivalent with 8+ years in HEOR or related fields.
• Proven publication record in HEOR or related health outcomes research.
• Expertise in HEOR methodologies including economic evaluation and observational studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of HEOR studies such as cost‑effectiveness analyses and budget impact models.
• Synthesize insights from payers, KOLs, and experts to inform strategy.
• Collaborate on publication strategy and dissemination of results.
