Job summary

Natera is seeking an Associate Director of Laboratory Operations to direct development, planning, implementation, and maintenance of lab manufacturing methods and processes. You will ensure GMP and CLIA/CAP compliance, oversee staffing and budget, and lead high‑performing teams to optimize performance and product quality.

The role requires management of manufacturing operations, KPI development, and collaboration with senior leadership to drive company objectives within a PHI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in STEM field; biological sciences preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience with at least 5 years overseeing manufacturing or CRO production teams at a leadership level.
• Experience managing a CLIA/CAP CRO production team is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership to laboratory products assigned to the individual.
• Participate in budget, revenue, test volume, and production performance.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory parameters.
• Lead and manage high-performance teams with accountability for operations, quality, and customer service.
• Draft SOWs and oversee select samples through CLIA lab processes.
