Life Opportunities Unlimited in Ridgewood, NJ, seeks an Associate Director of Human Resources to lead recruiting, onboarding and HR records in a full-time role. The position oversees employee relations, benefits enrollment and performance management, reporting to senior management.

Located in Bergen County with multiple programs nearby. The candidate will supervise HR staff, manage complex calendars, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to policy creation to support a positive work

Qualifications

• BS/BA required or 5+ years of relevant administrative experience.
• Experience managing complex calendars and schedules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruiting and onboarding processes and HR records per procedures and regulations.
• Foster positive relationships between employees and Life Opportunities Unlimited; mediate issues.
• Schedule and conduct interviews; organize career events and outreach.
• Maintain employee files and enrollment in benefits; manage time and attendance policies.
• Lead HR Coordinator, Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist and oversee performance evaluations.
