Associate Director, HEMA Provider Relations – MedTech Surgery

Join Johnson & Johnson MedTech as an Associate Director, HEMA Provider Relations. This remote, field-based role covers multiple states across the U.S., including West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Ohio, and Michigan.

Job Purpose:

The US Associate Director of Provider Relations leads programs supporting healthcare transformation and access to innovative technologies. This involves engaging with key decision-makers, supporting value-based care initiatives, and executing market access strategies, including outcomes-based agreements. The role requires collaboration across teams to build relationships and gather customer insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement provider relation strategies to disseminate HEMA evidence and support product and service adoption.
  • Develop tailored strategies addressing provider needs, integrating reimbursement insights into programs.
  • Partner with HEMA functions to deploy resources such as reimbursement hotlines, tools, and data dashboards.
  • Support market access initiatives, including reimbursement assessments and evidence dissemination.
  • Monitor reimbursement landscape changes and provide strategic insights.
  • Build strong internal and external collaborations to align priorities and strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in health policy, economics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or health plan industry with experience in health economics, reimbursement, and market access.
  • Deep understanding of US healthcare delivery, reimbursement systems, and policy trends.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex data effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
Additional Information:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $137,000 - $235,750, with performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
