Teneo is seeking an Associate Director in Washington, DC to lead client engagements at the intersection of business strategy and technology. You will structure fast-paced projects, guide senior teams, and translate strategic vision into actionable roadmaps across growth, operating models, and merger integration.

You'll interact with senior clients, mentor colleagues, and shape outcomes with rigorous analysis and clear points of view.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in management consulting and problem solving.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Experience at the intersection of business strategy and technology, including areas such as technology-enabled growth, product and capability strategy, strategic roadmapping, operating model, organization design, or investment planning.
• Strong leadership and ability to drive work with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop business and growth strategy, translating vision into actionable priorities.
• Structure and independently drive client engagements with workplans, analyses, and deliverables.
• Interact directly with senior clients as a trusted point person, shaping strategic initiatives.
• Connect business capabilities, product and technology to enterprise strategy and value creation.
• Develop strategic roadmaps implementing capabilities, operating model, and investments.
• Lead operating model, organization design, and merger integration work where tech drives value.
• Set direction and workload for engagement teams, mentoring junior staff.
• Collaborate across divisions and stakeholders to move recommendations into execution.
• Provide rigorous analysis and a clear point of view to senior leaders.
