Teneo's San Francisco office is expanding, seeking a Senior Vice President to shape the art of strategic communications for leading technology companies amid periods of transition. You will work with a small senior team to deliver high-impact programs and help build the Bay Area presence.

This role emphasizes partnering with senior management, advising startups, and using AI to improve speed and quality while managing day-to-day account work and long-term client impact.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years managing complex tech/finance/healthcare comms programs.
• Counsel executives and work with external advisers.
• Strong media network across traditional and non-traditional outlets.
• Proven track record building or improving teams, processes, or systems.
• Creative thinker who handles day-to-day and ad-hoc requests.
• Curious about AI; hands-on use of AI tools.
• Comfort with pace and ambiguity of a growing office.
• Able to work from SF office at least 3 days/week.

Aufgaben

• Manage complex strategic communications planning and execution, using every lever together: earned media, social, events, executive visibility, and non-traditional media such as podcasts, newsletters, and online video.
• Oversee day-to-day account work and make sure deliverables are high quality, including strategic plans, messaging frameworks, press releases, talking points, presentations, Q&A documents, and briefing memos.
• Help clients through moments of transition, such as fundraising, IPO readiness, leadership changes, and shifts in business model or technology.
• Show how communications drives business results, and help clients think about how their communications function should evolve.
• Use your understanding of emerging-technology companies to help clients stay ahead of market trends.
• Serve as a reliable, adaptable resource for senior team members, and lead and develop the people working with you.
• Partner with Teneo senior management and other Teneo divisions to identify client needs and deliver integrated solutions.
• Bring new ideas to how the team works, including using AI tools to improve quality and speed.
• Represent Teneo in the Bay Area business community and help build our presence and reputation.
• Foster a team culture where quality and client satisfaction come first.
