Teneo is a global CEO advisory firm seeking a Director for its Management Consulting team in New York. You will lead complex client engagements, develop insights, and drive growth while mentoring colleagues.

You will work with Fortune 100 and PE-backed portfolio companies on Growth Strategy, M&A, Commercial Due Diligence, Pricing, Go-to-Market strategy, and Operating Model Design across industries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of strategy/management consulting experience with leadership of major programs.
• Experience advising Technology and/or Services businesses on growth strategy, M&A, due diligence, pricing, GTM, operating models.
• Experience with private equity portfolio companies and value creation initiatives.
• Native-level written and spoken English; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure and lead complex projects with a Managing Director.
• Lead analytical workstreams and develop tailored client insights.
• Develop hypotheses and validate with senior colleagues and clients.
• Manage case teams, plan workloads, and mentor junior staff.
• Build consensus and drive client outcomes with data-driven insights.
• Support business development: identify opportunities, draft proposals, attend pitches.
• Act as liaison for senior clients and manage relationships across engagements.
• Lead client presentations with clarity and impact.
