Job summary

Chewy is seeking an Associate Director, Learning & Development to lead the enterprise-wide L&D team and craft scalable training that aligns with Chewy’s operating principles and business goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; concentration in Instructional Design, Education, Communications or Business Administration preferred.
• 8–10 years in professional L&D, building curricula and employing innovative delivery methods.
• Proven track record of creating engaging, scalable training interventions from the ground up.
• Experience designing a portfolio of training experiences (ILTs, eLearnings, etc.).
• Proficiency in instructional tech (authoring software, video editing, LMS).
• Strong collaboration, communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of high-quality training content aligned to objectives and performance outcomes.
• Develop curricula across leadership, functional development, onboarding and more.
• Oversee design process for global L&D, using blended delivery methods.
• Partner with HR and leaders to tailor content to functional needs.
• Define metrics and measure transfer/effectiveness of programs.
• Build a centralized instructional design and delivery team to meet demand.
• Maintain design standards and global consistency in Chewy learning.
