Job summary

Georgia Tech seeks a senior facilities leader to manage operations across multiple campuses and its GTRI facilities portfolio. You will supervise staff, drive service delivery for day-to-day operations, and oversee mission-critical data center functions including power, cooling, and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, facilities management, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in supervision.
• Experience overseeing data center and facilities operations, maintenance programs, and service desks.
• Strong vendor/contractor oversight and performance management.
• Familiarity with real estate portfolio coordination, lease administration, and lifecycle planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee day-to-day facilities operations and service delivery.
• Manage mission-critical data center facilities, including power, cooling, and uptime.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings and systems.
• Oversee custodial, grounds, service desk, and outsourced services.
• Manage vendor and contractor performance and service continuity.
• Direct management of owned and leased property portfolio and lease administration.
• Oversee utilities, infrastructure stewardship, and lifecycle planning.
• Organize staff activities and lead safety, compliance, energy efficiency, and business continuity initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
