Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, Technical Product Management for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Products. You will own the multi-year strategy, lifecycle delivery, and operational enhancement of digital capabilities across the global EHS systems portfolio.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, ensure SDLC governance and GMP compliance, and drive Lean improvements to accelerate value delivery across a regulated manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Twelve+ years of project/program management experience.
• Five+ years working with business stakeholders in a matrixed enterprise.
• Experience with regulated manufacturing environments (GMP/GxP/21 CFR Part 11).
• Hands-on experience with EHS platforms (Enablon, Sphera, Intelex, etc.).
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of global EHS digital products from discovery to deployment.
• Define multi-year EHS product roadmap aligned to business objectives.
• Drive discovery with safety, engineering, and operations to translate needs into user stories.
• Lead cross-functional projects with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Apply LEAN and process improvements to accelerate delivery velocity.
• Build relationships with GSE leadership, site operations, and IT.
