Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned e-billing leader to drive the firm’s strategy, operating model, and transformation agenda across global offices.

You will co-lead the e-billing function, oversee Elite 3E and eBillingHub, and align client requirements with policy standards while partnering with senior leadership on governance and training programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise billing systems, preferably Elite 3E, and web-based e-billing platforms.
• Advanced degree or professional certification such as MBA, CPA, or PMP preferred.
• Minimum seven years of leading billing or e-billing operations with strategic scope.
• Minimum ten years of progressive experience in billing, financial operations, or related functions.

• Provide strategic guidance on client e-billing requirements and guidelines.
• Support audits related to billing and e-billing processes.
• Design and oversee a comprehensive training program for attorneys, billing staff, and support personnel.

• Developing and executing the firm’s e-billing strategy in alignment with overall financial objectives
• Serving as the firmwide subject matter expert on e-billing operations, platforms, industry trends, and best practices
• Co‑leading the global e‑billing function with an emphasis on operating model design, governance, and standardization
• Acting as a co‑owner of the firm’s billing systems, including Elite 3E and eBillingHub
• Providing strategic guidance on client e‑billing requirements and guidelines
• Supporting internal and external audits related to billing and e‑billing processes
• Designing and overseeing a comprehensive training and education program for attorneys, billing staff, and support personnel on e‑billing policies, systems, and client expectations

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with enterprise billing systems, preferably Elite 3E, and web‑based e‑billing platforms such as Serengeti, Legal Tracker, Datacert, Tymetrix360, CounselLink, and Collaborati
• Experience managing cross‑functional projects and working with senior leadership in a global or multi‑office environment
• A deep understanding of law firm billing and e‑billing processes, controls, and client expectations
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems, or a related field
• An advanced degree or professional certification, such as an MBA, CPA, or PMP, preferably
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience leading billing or e‑billing operations with responsibility for strategy, transformation, or large‑scale initiatives
• A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in billing, financial operations, or related functions
