Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Associate Director of Logistics to lead inbound material flow, inventory management, material distribution, packaging, and government furnished material management in a fast-paced, program-driven environment.

Reporting directly to the Director of Production Control and Logistics, this role oversees all logistics functions across multiple sites and collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain to drive growth, operational excellence,

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or advanced degree with 10–12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing in a production schedule driven environment.
• Experience leading daily team operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound material flow, inventory management, and government property management.
• Lead an organization of over 200 salary and bargaining unit employees.
• Collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Support audit readiness and ensure on-time factory deliveries.
• Travel up to 15% domestically; manage transition of inventory to GXO 3PL.
