Job summary

RTX, an RTX business, seeks an Associate Director of Logistics to lead the Operations Leadership Team in Tucson, AZ. You will oversee all logistics functions in a fast-paced, program-driven setting, collaborating with senior leaders across Operations and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of objectives.

This onsite role requires up to 15% travel and offers opportunities for growth. You will manage a large team, drive performance, and support audit readiness while aligning with DoD

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments.
• Proven leadership of daily operations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound material flow, inventory management, distribution, and government furnished material handling.
• Lead an organization of over 200 salary and bargaining unit employees.
• Collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Manage the transition of $2B of inventory to GXO (3PL) with minimal production impact.
• Develop people, manage performance, and drive talent development.
• Ensure audit readiness and Compliance; support factory deliveries and ramp rates.
