Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison to shape dermatology strategies and education across the Mid-Atlantic region. This remote, field-based role requires building trusted relationships with Medical Experts and guiding insights into key business decisions.

Expect up to 80% travel and collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Congress teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and 5+ years in Thought Leader engagement or related pharma

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement or related field.
• Able to travel up to 80% within a broad geography.
• Proven ability to develop compliant relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Strong understanding of field-based marketing, engagement, and cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with Medical Experts across Dermatology.
• Conduct compliant Medical Expert engagements to generate insights.
• Facilitate discussions using approved resources to inform marketing and education strategies.
• Capture, synthesize, and communicate insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support peer-to-peer education programs through expert insights and speaker development.
• Coordinate engagement activities for congresses, meetings, and events.
• Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, Congress teams to execute aligned strategies.
