Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Network Engineering to lead Data Center and Deployment Engineering teams, designing, deploying, and evolving enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on automation and AI-ready platforms.

You will establish engineering standards, deployment methodologies, and IaC practices using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, and Python, while guiding large-scale migrations and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data center networking engineering.
• 5+ years in people leadership.
• Experience leading engineering and deployment teams.
• Proven ability to build high-performing technical organizations.
• Extensive experience with Arista/Cisco data center technologies and VXLAN/EVPN.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git.
• Experience with Azure DevOps deployment pipelines and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data Center Network and Deployment Engineers.
• Set roadmaps, standards, deployment methodologies, and automation strategies.
• Drive engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Own execution for major infrastructure initiatives from design to handoff.
• Lead deployment for modern data center architectures using Cisco/Arista.
• Enable AI-ready networks with NVIDIA GPUs in HPC environments.
