Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Network Engineering to lead Data Center and Deployment Engineering teams. You will drive architecture, deployment methodologies, automation, and AI-ready networking across the enterprise.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic direction, and scalable infrastructure initiatives over daily operations, with collaboration across security, cloud, and architecture teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data center network engineering experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Expertise designing and deploying enterprise data center networks (Arista/Cisco).
• Strong IaC and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Data Center Network Engineers and Deployment Engineers.
• Establish technical roadmaps, engineering standards, deployment methodologies, and automation strategies.
• Build a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Own engineering execution for major infrastructure initiatives from design through deployment and handoff.
• Lead engineering and deployment for modern data center architectures using Cisco and Arista.
• Enable AI-ready networking platforms supporting NVIDIA GPU and HPC environments.
• Establish IaC and automated deployment practices as standards using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git.
• Drive large-scale data center migrations, consolidations, and merger/acquisition transitions.
• Promote orchestration, automation, observability, and telemetry across the data center.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, Operations, and Architecture teams.
