Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Cyber Incident Response Coordinator within the Cyber & Investigative Services (CIS) team to coordinate complex cybersecurity incidents on a global scale. You will apply advanced incident response techniques, lead cross‑functional efforts, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

The role requires deep knowledge of incident response, forensics, and governance, plus the ability to remain calm under pressure and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Expertise in incident response lifecycle and governance.
• Experience coordinating global cybersecurity incidents.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex responses to global cybersecurity incidents, including nontraditional hours.
• Liaise with business units, IT teams, and external partners.
• Maintain relationships with General Counsel, Data Privacy, and Risk Management.
• Drive integration with other incident management programs.
• Oversee projects and mentor junior team members.
• Develop processes for scalable incident response operations.
• Deliver metrics to leadership on incident response performance.
• Draft timely communications to leadership during events.
• Ensure documentation and process ownership.
• Be on-call for off-hours rotation.
