Job summary

The Broad Institute's Center for Therapeutic Genetics seeks an Associate Director of Operations to build and run the operational, financial, and governance backbone of the center. You will connect strategy to execution across Broad, JAX-RDTC, and BCH, serving as a trusted partner to CTG leadership.

Reporting to the CTG Director, you will own CTG operations budgets and partnership infrastructure, driving governance, program pipelines, and cross-team collaboration with data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years experience, or Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years in project management, alliance management, strategic consulting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of management experience leading teams, programs, or cross-functional efforts.
• A background in science, medicine, or a related field is highly preferred, but not required.
• Experience with board level communications is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational framework for CTG across governance, finance, communications, and logistics.
• Translate strategy into operating plans, timelines, and performance indicators.
• Design policies and tools to scale CTG and measure results.
• Manage cross-institution initiatives and ensure timely execution.
• Oversee staff and project managers, developing team capability.
