Job summary

The Broad Institute combines forces with Boston Children's Hospital and The Jackson Laboratory to advance genetic medicines. CTG seeks an Associate Director of Operations to connect strategy to execution, manage budgets, governance, and partnerships, and act as a trusted liaison to senior leadership across CTG and partner institutions.

You will oversee operational frameworks, drive governance processes, and support cross-program collaboration, ensuring timely delivery and data-driven decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience in project management, alliance management, strategic consulting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of management experience, including leading teams, programs, or cross-functional efforts.
• Experience with board level communications is highly preferred.
• Advanced understanding of how large research institutions operate and collaborate across organizations.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, use data to drive decisions, and create practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational framework for CTG, including governance, finance, communications, and logistics across programs and partners.
• Translate strategy into operating plans, timelines, and performance indicators.
• Recommend and implement policies, processes, and tools as CTG scales; set evaluation criteria for results.
• Drive large cross-cutting initiatives across teams and institutions.
• Oversee staff and project managers; delegate and build capability within teams.
