Job summary

BRIC, a Brooklyn-based arts and media institution, seeks an Associate Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations of BRIC’s venues, facilities, and revenue-generating activities. You will supervise managers, coordinate capital projects, and partner across departments to ensure safe, welcoming spaces that support programming.

Based in Brooklyn, this full-time exempt role reports to the Senior Director, Production & Operations and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in operations or related field.
5+ years in operations or venue management, including staff oversight.
Experience overseeing facilities, building operations, capital projects, and vendor relationships across multiple venues.
Track record of managing rentals, audience services, or earned revenue programs and meeting revenue goals.

Responsibilities

Lead Operations leadership: supervise the Operations Manager, Facilities & Building Management and the Operations Manager, Events & Revenue.
Oversee facilities and capital planning for BRIC House, 75 Rockwell, and other BRIC sites; manage timelines and budgets.
Coordinate programming events, partnerships, and client engagements; allocate staffing and resources.
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments like Production, Finance, Development, Marketing and People & Culture on operational needs.
Develop and report on operational performance including assets, revenue, audience services, and safety.
