Genworth is hiring an Associate Data Scientist to join the LTC Operations analytics team. You will harness data to enhance predictive capabilities, forecast trends, and deliver analytic solutions for policyholders and processes.

You will work with cross-functional teams to explore large datasets, build models, and create dashboards that drive self-service insights for business partners. This role requires strong Python, SQL, and visualization skills and offers hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, data science, statistics, or similar.
• Strong problem solving and customer experience mindset.
• Subject matter expertise in analytical modeling with Python.
• Results-oriented with urgency and accountability for business problems.
• Ability to build relationships with business partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS technologies.
• Experience with big data tech: Databricks, Azure, Hadoop, Spark, Hive.
• Experience with data visualization tools: PowerBI, Spotfire, Tableau, Python.
• Version control: GitHub or GitLab.

Responsibilities
