Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Typically 1–3 years related experience, including progress toward SOA exams.
• Knowledge of insurance, actuarial and statistical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial, statistical and mathematical data and performs actuarial calculations to identify trends driving business outcomes.
• Assists in rate increase strategies, calculation of reserves and/or cash flow projections to support the monthly close process or supports the annual reserve and asset adequacy testing process for the LTC block of business.
• Collaborates with business partners to gather information and assists with the preparation of material for meetings.
• Contributes to monitoring experience trends and providing analytical insights into Long Term Care.
• Assists in preparing variety of standard and special reports for management as needed.
• Accountable for maintaining robust documentation.
