Job summary

Brooksource is hiring a Data Engineer in the Jacksonville, FL area to drive high-value data lifecycle use cases within a pharma client's Commercial Operations. You will support rapid prototyping, ingestion, contextualization, feature engineering, and solution operationalization across our data & analytics stack.

The role involves collaborating with Data Scientists and Analysts to deliver clean, analysis-ready data, building dashboards, and ensuring data quality during migrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS, Data Science, Eng, IT).
• Experience with SQL or Python for backend ETL development.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for visualization.
• Cloud data warehousing experience (AWS Redshift/S3, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of data lifecycle management: ingestion, contextualization, insights, analytics.

Responsibilities

• Aid in development of prototype solutions for business priorities within the Data & Analytics stack.
• Support data engineering to accelerate leveraging contact lens category within operations.
• Deliver preprocessed, curated, analysis-ready datasets from disparate sources.
• Identify and resolve quality issues during data migration and transformation.
• Write queries and code in real-time within sandbox environments.
• Analyze results and maintain dashboard views.
