Job summary

Providence is seeking a Data Engineer I to design and build modern data-centric applications supporting clinical and operational workflows. You’ll work with cloud technologies, Snowflake, and ELT/ETL tooling to deliver scalable data pipelines and dashboards.

Responsibilities include automation, observability, and securing data assets while collaborating with Product, Platform, and Architecture teams to meet SLAs and drive enterprise data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience with production data ops ownership.
• 1+ year of related experience in Snowflake, Ctrl-M, and ADF.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data pipelines and transformation processes across cloud data platforms.
• Automate and monitor batch/streaming ELT/ETL pipelines to keep data fresh.
• Perform root-cause analyses, triage failures, and reduce MTTR.
• Ensure data quality, observability, and cost-efficiency of data assets.
• Collaborate with product/analytics teams and provide on-call support.
