Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated Associate Analyst to help protect organizations against advanced threats. You will work in a global SOC, triaging security alerts, conducting investigations, and guiding customers on remediation.

Ideal candidates have a foundation in IT/security, strong communication skills, and interest in AI-driven security workflows. This role requires availability for a 4x10 schedule and hybrid on-site work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in incident handling and investigation of security events.
• Foundational knowledge of attack vectors, MITRE ATT&CK framework familiarity.
• Understanding of Windows, macOS and Linux and basic IT architecture.
• Experience administering networks and troubleshooting connectivity/authentication issues.
• Knowledge of network protocols and log analysis for investigation and triage.
• Familiarity with identity platforms such as Okta, Entra ID, AD.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 security and BEC/AITM patterns.
• Basic log sources across cloud, network devices and identity providers.
• Foundational remediation skills for targeted attacks.
• Strong network operations/engineering background and scripting ability.
• Experience or coursework in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Interest or experience using AI to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clear, professional customer communications as the first contact.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, findings and recommendations.
• Triage, investigate, and respond to security alerts across endpoints and cloud.
• Analyze EDR telemetry and forensic artifacts to support remediation efforts.
• Investigate suspicious Microsoft 365 activity and contain threats for customers.
• Develop and improve detection and countermeasure processes.
