Job summary

CrowdStrike is actively seeking a highly motivated senior analyst to join our global security operations center, focused on real-time detection and response to protect customers around the world.

You will conduct monitoring and incident handling across Windows, Mac, and Linux, perform malware analysis and remote remediation, and help evolve detection and response processes while communicating findings to clients and leadership.

Qualifications

• Incident handling experience in IR for organizations threatened by advanced actors.
• Background in computer forensic analysis using various forensic tools.
• Systems administration understanding to implement countermeasures and remediation.
• Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Experience creating tailored remediation plans for compromised environments.
• Programming/scripting experience in PowerShell, C, C#, Python, and other languages.
• At least one relevant security certification is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monitoring and in-depth analysis of security alerts using CrowdStrike platform.
• Exercise incident handling across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Perform malware analysis.
• Perform remote remediation of malware or malicious activity.
• Develop and improve detection, triage, and countermeasure execution processes.
• Produce high-quality communications to customer management.
• Demonstrate thought leadership through blogs, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.
• Assist in advancing security processes and procedures.
