Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Associate Customer Development Manager (Assoc CDM) to drive sales of retail prepared products across two Midwest customers and optimize merchandising and promotions. The role involves frequent travel for customer meetings, food shows, and collaboration with internal teams to meet AOP targets.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of sales experience, preferably in CPG.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience; CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of retail prepared products to two assigned customers in the Midwest.
• Optimize merchandising plans and execute actions to amplify promotions with customers.
• Maintain regular engagement with customers through travel, meetings, and food shows.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Customer Strategy and Execution, Sales, and Business Units, as well as externally with Brokers on category insights.
• Meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) sales and profitability targets.
• Manage trade fund budgets and provide weekly and annual sales forecasts.
• Present and secure innovation with customers.
• Provide weekly communication to leadership on customer outcomes.
• Support retail execution of sales plans.
