Blue Cross NC seeks an Associate Counsel to support its PBM services, including the State Health Plan contracts. You will partner with pharmacy, compliance, operations, data, finance, vendor management, and executives to ensure contractual compliance and manage legal risk.

The role requires strong knowledge of state and federal laws governing PBM and health plan administration, advising on privacy, data use, transparency, and regulatory obligations while supporting audits and public records

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school and license to practice law.
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• Strong ability to spot issues and provide practical, legally sound guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain knowledge of PBM contracts and related requirements (vendor obligations, reporting, audit rights).
• Advise internal partners on PBM contractual interpretations and compliance across PBM operations.
• Support administration of the State Health Plan PBM contract and related health plan matters.
• Provide guidance on privacy, data governance, and confidential information in PBM services.
