Job summary

Conner Strong & Buckelew is seeking a capable specialist to manage day-to-day operations for the Commercial Lines – Alternative Risk and National Captive Practice. You will support captive consultants, analyze claims and data to build pro forma financials, and help develop new opportunities for national clients and partners.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial insurance and strong communication skills to coordinate with producers, clients, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance.
  • Ability to analyze data and support pro forma financials and client proposals.
  • Experience supporting consultants, producers, and account teams in marketing, placement or servicing of insurance programs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments with deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to contribute to client-facing presentations and internal collaboration.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients and external partners.
  • Willingness to learn new products and explain the benefits and challenges of alternative risk solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Alternative Risk / Captive Practice Leader and captive consultants with day-to-day operations of the group.
  • Assist in the analysis of claims, exposure, and premium data to prepare captive pro formas for prospective and existing opportunities.
  • Support the evaluation and servicing of group captive programs, while assisting with single parent captive opportunities as needed.
  • Participate in the coordination and support of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, working with actuaries and other third-party providers.
  • Assist producers and captive consultants on new business opportunities and renewal strategies for captive and alternative risk programs.
  • Help coordinate renewal submissions and supporting materials for captive clients in a timely manner.
  • Support the preparation of client and prospect presentations, including educational materials related to captive and alternative risk solutions.
  • Assist with coordinating with captive managers, actuaries, auditors, tax professionals, and other external partners in support of client deliverables.
  • Participate in internal and external educational sessions, client meetings, and other captive-related discussions as needed.
  • Stay current on captive market conditions, industry trends, domiciles, and alternative risk product developments.
  • Support the development and servicing of alternative risk programs, including fronting programs, integrated risk programs, parametric solutions, and other non-traditional products.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the dailyaccount managementandservicing activities of Captive Practice Clients, including new and renewal business processes. Serves as the procedural and technical resource for theAlternative Risk and National Captive Practiceand is involved insupporting Captive Consultants and Practice Leaders withdevelopment of new opportunities,retentionofbusiness, Clienteducationmeetingsand new product and partner development

The position willcollaborate with the captive practice leadersin the development, analysis, and servicing of captive and alternative risk opportunities for clients and prospects. The individual will also help supportnational clientsandcore partner relationships. The position will report directly to the company’sAlternative Risk andNationalCaptivePracticeLeader and will interact with producers, account executives, consultants, clients, prospects, and external service providers.

Requirements

Specialized Knowledge or Licenses
  • Property & Casualty producer licenserequired
  • ARM, CIC, CPCU or other specialized designations are a plus
Compensation

Salary for this position ranges from $70,000.00 - $120,000.00.The base pay offered will bedeterminedon factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will bedeterminedon a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Qualifying positions will also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, such as participation in family medical and dental insurance programs, 401K plan, and PTO.

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship.
