Job summary

Santander Holdings USA Inc. is seeking an Associate, Transaction Management – SCIB Lending to manage complex Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance transactions from pre‑approval through close, booking, funding and lifecycle handoff.

You will coordinate with Advisory, Legal, Credit, Compliance and Front Office to ensure accuracy and timely execution in a fast‑paced environment. 3–6 years in portfolio management or credit analysis, a Bachelor degree, and knowledge of loan documentation, funds

Qualifications

Strong transaction execution, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
Understanding of control requirements and booking processes.
Experience with complex closings and amendments under time pressure.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of complex Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, syndicated and other transactions from pre‑approval through close.
Coordinate closing checklists, conditions precedent, documentation status, and funding readiness.
Monitor material changes to approved terms and elevate them prior to signing, closing or funding.
Partner with Advisory, Legal and Front Office during documentation negotiation to identify operational, control and funding implications.
Track and resolve booking defects, documentation gaps and post-close items.
Support handoff of transactions to Portfolio Management, Agency, Operations and Servicing.
