Job summary

WTW in United States is seeking an Associate Broker to support casualty broking for North American accounts. You will prepare submissions, run analyses, and engage with underwriters to secure favorable terms.

The role emphasizes market research, developing optimum risk solutions, and assisting with renewals and simple alterations under guidance. A hybrid work model and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Insurance broker’s P&C license will be required; can be obtained within 90 days post hire.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2–4 years industry experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and process orientation.
• Exposure to Excel formulas and spreadsheet creation/manipulation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of core insurance principles and client explanations.
• Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong client service focus and understanding of placement workflows.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and good presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical support to the broking team for new and recurring annual policies.
• Run and interpret analytical models.
• Communicate with underwriters via email, phone, and written correspondence.
• Assist with or lead front-end sales/RFP efforts.
• Obtain and distribute information from clients and producing offices.
• Evaluate coverage information and prepare program proposals.
• Review quotes, draft submissions, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
