Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Associate Recruiter- University Events Lead to drive on-campus and virtual events across a portfolio of partner schools. You will engage students, guide them through the recruiting funnel, and protect the company brand during events.

This role requires travel up to 30–35% during peak seasons, typically 2 to 3 days per week on the road for several weeks each year, and strong project management to align stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• 1+ year of experience in event planning or project management.
• 1+ year of experience in campus recruiting or sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Manage, execute, and own on-campus and virtual event strategies for partner schools.
• Travel up to 30–35% during peak campus recruiting seasons.
• Provide an exceptional candidate and associate/client experience across all hosted events.
• Develop and deliver training materials for executives, business partners, and associates traveling to campus representations.
• Manage allocated school budgets, oversee logistics and maintain candidate tracking data.
• Measure event ROI and present findings to stakeholders.
