Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is seeking an Associate Project Consultant in Building Technology in Los Angeles, CA. You will assist licensed engineers with new design, evaluation, and repairs for existing buildings, and travel to job sites as needed.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, technical learning, and collaboration within SGH's national team. Qualified graduates with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering and 0–5 years’ experience (EIT preferred) are

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architectural Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience; EIT preferred.
• Interest in building construction and engineering problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new design, evaluation, investigation, and repairs for existing buildings.
• Under direction of a licensed engineer, contribute to project deliverables.
• Climb ladders/scaffolds and travel to job sites as required.
