North American Risk Services Inc. is seeking Auto Property Damage Claims Adjusters for our Commercial Auto/Trucking team. The role supports a work-from-home arrangement with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

The position requires adjusting experience, licensing eligibility, and strong negotiation and litigation skills to manage complex claims for clients nationwide.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years of prior claim adjusting experience or completion of the NARS Claims Trainee program.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, Florida Adjuster’s license or other required jurisdictional licensing.

Responsabilidades

• Keep claim metrics current.
• Handle a caseload commensurate with complexity.
• Establish facts of loss, perform coverage analysis, investigate and determine compensability/liability.
• Coordinate medical care as appropriate; manage litigation; negotiate settlements.
• Perform timely reserve analysis and complete reports.
• Attend conferences and client meetings; mentor other adjusters; assist management.
• Operate within statutes, guidelines, and NARS Best Practices; may travel as needed.

Job Description:

• Claim metrics must be kept current.
• Handle a case load commensurate with the complexity level of claims assigned.
• Requires establishing facts of loss, coverage analysis, investigation, compensability/liability/negligence determination, coordination of medical care (as appropriate), litigation management, damage assessment, settlement negotiations, identifying potential fraud and appropriate use of authorized vendors.
• Also includes timely and appropriate reserve analysis and report completion.
• Ability to attend conferences, client meetings, mentor other adjusters and assist management as requested.
• All file handling must be within state statutes, Client Claims Handling Guidelines and NARS Best Practices.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned, which may include travel.

Education / Licensing / Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, 2-year degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years of prior claim adjusting experience or have successfully completed the NARS Claims Trainee program.
• Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Florida Adjuster’s license or other required jurisdictional licensing.

Technical Skills:

• Requires the ability to negotiate claims and to direct litigation.
• Must have interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.

• Must have negotiation and litigation skills for significant work with attorneys and arbitration on first and third-party claims.
