North American Risk Services Inc. is seeking an Associate Auto Property Damage Claims Adjuster to join our Commercial Auto/Trucking team.

The role involves investigating claims, determining coverage and liability, managing reserves, and negotiating settlements from a home-based environment in the United States. Qualified candidates will hold an active New York Adjuster license and ideally have 3+ years of claims adjusting experience or completed the NARS Trainee program.

Qualifications

• Active NY Adjuster License required.
• 3+ years claims adjusting experience or completion of NARS Trainee program.
• NY license + additional jurisdiction licensing preferred (e.g., FL).

Responsibilities

• Maintain current claim metrics and processing standards.
• Handle caseload commensurate with complexity; establish facts of loss and liability.
• Coordinate medical care, settlement negotiations, and vendor use as needed.
• Conduct reserve analysis and complete required reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in conferences, client meetings, and mentor other adjusters as requested.
• Travel as required; ensure compliance with statutes and guidelines.

Premier TPA with Growth Opportunities is searching for an Auto Property Damage Claims Adjuster for our Commercial Auto/Trucking Team

Job Description:

• Claim metrics must be kept current.
• Handle a case load commensurate with the complexity level of claims assigned.
• Requires establishing facts of loss, coverage analysis, investigation, compensability/liability/negligence determination, coordination of medical care (as appropriate), litigation management, damage assessment, settlement negotiations, identifying potential fraud and appropriate use of authorized vendors.
• Also includes timely and appropriate reserve analysis and report completion.
• Ability to attend conferences, client meetings, mentor other adjusters and assist management as requested.
• All file handling must be within state statutes, Client Claims Handling Guidelines and NARS Best Practices.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned, which may include travel.

Education / Licensing / Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, 2-year degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years of prior claim adjusting experience or have successfully completed the NARS Claims Trainee program.
• Must possess an active New York Adjuster’s License.
• Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Florida Adjuster’s license or other required jurisdictional licensing.

• Requires ability to negotiate claims and to direct litigation.
• Must have interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
