Windsor Troy Law, LLP, is a civil litigation firm that focuses on plaintiff's side personal injury and school/government liability cases. As an Associate Attorney at Windsor Troy Law, LLP, you will have the opportunity to focus on case strategy, professional development, and attend court hearings and mediations rather than time‑consuming tasks that most firms give their newer lawyers. The right candidate will have experience taking, defending, and preparing for depositions and be interested in participating in focus groups, trial preparation, and attorney skill programs. We provide extensive support, including AI technology that aims to improve productivity and efficiency. Trial participation is expected, but we will gradually transition you into that area of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of various personal injury matters in litigation.
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including filing complaints.
• Draft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery disputes.
• Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings.
• Take and defend depositions throughout the course of litigation.
• Prepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motions.
• Attend court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases.
• Direct and support investigations on all assigned litigation matters.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of personal injury law experience.
• Strong background in personal injury litigation, including pre‑litigation case management and discovery.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Juris Doctor degree and current good standing with the California State bar required.
• Workers compensation experience is a plus.
• Experience in conducting depositions.

Salary

$80,000 – $160,000 a year
