Position: Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Detroit, Michigan (In-person)

Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: Monday – Friday

Our well-established Detroit-based law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team. We specialize in traditional labor and employment law, providing exceptional legal services to public and private sector clients. Key Responsibilities:

·Assist the Litigation Practice Group with a diverse portfolio of high-impact, meaningful cases.

·Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies, on a wide range of litigation matters.

·Manage cases from inception to resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting persuasive motions, pleadings, and briefs, and assisting with discovery and trial preparation.

·Demonstrate strong legal writing and analytical skills to develop compelling arguments and contribute to successful litigation strategies.

·Collaborate with senior attorneys while making meaningful, independent contributions that influence case outcomes and enhance client satisfaction.

·Communicate effectively with clients, including high-level executives, to support legal strategy and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Bar Admission
• 1–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house setting.
• Proven ability to oversee and manage litigation matters with minimal supervision.
• Experience in client communication and project management, with a demonstrated ability to maintain strong client relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
