A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney for their Employment Practice Area in Worcester, MA. The associate will support attorneys in litigation, counseling, drafting, investigations, and training matters. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days.
Duties
- Draft and revise employment policies, handbooks, and agreements
- Provide counseling on HR and employment compliance matters
- Litigate employment cases, including wrongful termination and discrimination
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Assist in all phases of litigation, including mediations and trials
- Prepare and analyze discovery productions
- Communicate with clients and provide legal advice and updates
Requirements
- Three to eight years of experience in an employment practice area
- Experience representing employers in employment disputes
- Strong academic background with a Juris Doctorate Degree
- Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts; multiple state Bar admissions are a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to manage time and multitask effectively
- Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
- Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.

- Licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
